{"id":2350,"date":"2007-10-09T10:26:00","date_gmt":"2007-10-09T16:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2007\/10\/lyons-mum-about-conversation-with-pearce\/"},"modified":"2007-10-09T10:26:00","modified_gmt":"2007-10-09T16:26:00","slug":"lyons-mum-about-conversation-with-pearce","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nmpolitics.net\/index\/2007\/10\/lyons-mum-about-conversation-with-pearce\/","title":{"rendered":"Lyons mum about conversation with Pearce"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_IabUCQmoheQ\/Rwur2Ss9LuI\/AAAAAAAADns\/_PqJX84_pws\/s1600-h\/Lyons,+Pat.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/4.bp.blogspot.com\/_IabUCQmoheQ\/Rwur2Ss9LuI\/AAAAAAAADns\/_PqJX84_pws\/s200\/Lyons,+Pat.jpg\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5119374350658383586\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>New Mexico Land Commissioner <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmstatelands.org\/default.aspx?PageID=2\" target=\"_blank\">Pat Lyons<\/a> confirmed this morning that he spoke on Monday with fellow Republican <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pearceforcongress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Steve Pearce<\/a> about the U.S. Senate race, but he would not reveal the details of their conversation.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cOh yeah, I talked to him,\u201d <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Lyons<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> said today. \u201cWe haven\u2019t made a decision yet and I don\u2019t think he has either, so we\u2019ll have to see how things shake out.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Both Lyons and Southern New Mexico\u2019s congressman are considering getting into the race, and <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Lyons<\/st1:city><\/st1:place> had been trying for days to discuss the situation with Pearce. Republicans U.S. Rep. <a href=\"http:\/\/wilson.house.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Heather Wilson<\/a> and newcomer <a href=\"http:\/\/haussamen.blogspot.com\/2007\/10\/oil-man-to-challenge-wilson-in-primary.html\">Spiro G.
