{"id":23040,"date":"2010-11-02T14:59:38","date_gmt":"2010-11-02T20:59:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/?p=23040"},"modified":"2010-11-02T14:59:38","modified_gmt":"2010-11-02T20:59:38","slug":"gop-poll-workers-warned-in-dona-ana-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/11\/gop-poll-workers-warned-in-dona-ana-county\/","title":{"rendered":"GOP poll workers warned in Do\u00f1a Ana County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Do\u00f1a Ana County Clerk\u2019s Office has had to reprimand poll challengers as six precincts and warned them that they will be removed if they continue to behave inappropriately, <a href=\"http:\/\/newmexicoindependent.com\/66291\/gop-poll-challengers-warned-by-dona-ana-county-clerks-office\">The New Mexico Independent<\/a> is reporting.<\/p>\n<p>From The Independent:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cThere have been incidents at six precincts,\u201d (Chief Deputy County Clerk Mario) Jimenez said. \u201cAt three locations, gentlemen were trying to handle voters\u2019 ballots. At one, he was hovering by the scanner machine and took ballots, and then he \u2014 the challenger \u2014 placed ballots into the scanner for the voters. \u2026 At one location, Tom Baugh Elementary, a challenger was attempting to assist voters.
