You can read the details about the allegations against Pearce by clicking <a href=\"http:\/\/www.beyonddelay.org\/node\/309\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">A Pearce spokesman has called the allegations \u201clies\u201d but refused, to this point, to elaborate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I\u2019ve been pushing since Tuesday for the opportunity to interview a Pearce staffer about the situation. I sent an e-mail today asking Pearce spokesman Brian Phillips when I\u2019d be able to ask my questions and get answers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Phillips didn\u2019t answer that question. But he did provide this statement:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cWe are preparing a release with accompanying documents,\u201d he wrote. \u201cIt is taking longer than we thought to get our letters back so it might be a day or two. I appreciate your patience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I\u2019m assuming that means we\u2019ll have a response on Friday or Monday.
