There\u2019s also the possibility that other candidates will emerge on or before the Sept. 25 filing date.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Regardless, of 177 voters in last week\u2019s poll, 91, or 51 percent, said Miyagishima would win the Nov. 6 election, while 86, or 49 percent, said Mattiace will win.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Don\u2019t forget to vote in this week\u2019s poll, located at the top of the right column on this page.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week\u2019s non-scientific poll on this site points to what may be a very tight race between Bill Mattiace and Ken Miyagishima for Las Cruces mayor.
