\u201cClinton for me,\u201d Fell said.<\/p>\n
\u201cTrump,\u201d Horton said.<\/p>\n
Then they laugh together on the cool morning.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt wasn\u2019t actually (Trump) in particular (that made me vote for him),\u201d Horton said.<\/p>\n
\u201cAgainst Clinton is what you\u2019re saying,\u201d Fell responded.<\/p>\n
\u201cRight,\u201d Horton said. \u201cShe had plenty of opportunity to do more and she didn\u2019t accomplish as much as I think she should have.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fell believes the opposite about Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe\u2019s done so much in her life. She wants to help people,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Fell adds that he\u2019s tired of the Republican Party \u201csaying \u2018no\u2019 to everything.\u201d That causes Horton to chuckle.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey do,\u201d Fell said. \u201cThat\u2019s their strategy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fell doesn\u2019t trust Trump, the GOP presidential nominee. He\u2019s from Wisconsin and says he would have voted for Republican Scott Walker, Wisconsin\u2019s governor, for president. Walker ran in the Republican primary against Trump and others but lost.<\/p>\n
Horton said she would have voted for Clinton\u2019s vice-presidential nominee, Tim Kaine, instead of Trump if Kaine had been the Democratic presidential choice.<\/p>\n
But you can\u2019t always get what you want in politics. So Horton went with Trump. And Fell went with Clinton.<\/p>\n
Both see the United States facing many problems. Horton is concerned about the debt. Fell is concerned about international affairs.<\/p>\n
Fell says differing political views don\u2019t affect the couple\u2019s relationship.<\/p>\n
