The poster doesn\u2019t report how much each has beyond $100,000, and he doesn\u2019t rank them, so I did, to get an idea of where Heinrich and McCamley stand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I couldn\u2019t find <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fec.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Federal Election Commission<\/a> reports for all of the candidates listed, but I did for most, and at least 13 have more money on hand than Heinrich, who had almost $153,000 at the end of the quarter. At least 15 have more on hand than McCamely, who had just over $133,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a onblur=\"try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}\" href=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_IabUCQmoheQ\/Rp013V-gZiI\/AAAAAAAAC2o\/3bGYCEwurAE\/s1600-h\/McCamley,+Bill.JPG\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;\" src=\"http:\/\/1.bp.blogspot.com\/_IabUCQmoheQ\/Rp013V-gZiI\/AAAAAAAAC2o\/3bGYCEwurAE\/s200\/McCamley,+Bill.JPG\" alt=\"\" id=\"BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5088282378906920482\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a>Still, both are in roughly the top 20 Democratic challengers in the nation in terms of cash on hand.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">What\u2019s most interesting about the situation is that there are only nine Republican challengers to Democratic incumbents with more than $100,000 on hand at the end of the second quarter.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Heinrich and McCamley are currently part of a Democratic wave that helped the former minority party take control of Congress in 2006, a wave that is likely to continue through the 2008 election.
