The commission intends to use it for education in math, science and business that relates to the aerospace industry.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In June, commissioners created a nine-member advisory committee comprised of representatives from each of Do\u00f1a Ana County\u2019s three school districts and New Mexico State University\u2019s Education and Engineering colleges, as well as a representative of the aerospace industry, a commissioner and two members of the public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The Spaceport Educational Advisory Committee will make recommendations to the commission about how to allocate the funding to the Hatch, <st1:city st=\"on\">Las Cruces<\/st1:city> and <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Gadsden<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Applications must include a letter of interest, a current r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and three letters of recommendation. The deadline to submit applications is 2 p.m. on July 18.
