Campaigns have to file quarterly reports once they raise $5,000.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Hannan\u2019s total isn\u2019t much, but he appears to be using it wisely. It\u2019s paying for weekly advertisements in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfreporter.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Santa Fe Reporter<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.weeklyalibi.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Alibi<\/a> in <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Albuquerque<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> and, as of Thursday, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lcsun-news.com\/pulse\" target=\"_blank\">Pulse<\/a>, the weekly entertainment insert in the Las Cruces Sun-News and Silver City Sun-News.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In addition, Hannan has a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jimhannan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Web site<\/a> that he said costs about $4 per month.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cI have virtually no overhead at this point, so all contributions are going directly into my print ads,\u201d Hannan said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Hannan\u2019s largest contribution thus far was for $200, he said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Domenici hasn\u2019t yet released his second-quarter fundraising figures. He raised $393,000 in the first quarter of the year, and plans to raise $4 million for the race.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mothermedia.org\/2008platform.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Leland Lehrman<\/a>, another Democrat who wants to take on Domenici next year, has said he has raised about $400 thus far. Other candidates for federal races from <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state> haven\u2019t yet filed reports with the FEC, but must do so by July 15.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jim Hannan has raised about $3,000 for his campaign to unseat GOP Sen.
