Bill Richardson\u2019s office <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/04\/ag-calls-out-richardson-over-public-records-violation\/\">hasn\u2019t released any useful documents<\/a> related to the identities of the 59 exempt employees he had laid off in January, the <a href=\"http:\/\/nmfog.org\/\">New Mexico Foundation for Open Government<\/a> is slowly putting together the pieces of what happened.<\/p>\n<p>The sunshine group has made requests to each state agency for information about exempts who were laid off and has received responses from all but 11 agencies, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.santafenewmexican.com\/Local%20News\/Details-on-exempt-layoffs-trickle-in\">The Santa Fe New Mexican<\/a> is reporting.<\/p>\n<p>You can view the responses FOG has received from state agencies by clicking <a href=\"http:\/\/nmfog.org\/content.asp?CustComKey=431009&amp;CategoryKey=469626&amp;WebFileKey=469627&amp;pn=webfilesview&amp;DomName=nmfog.org\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As reported by The New Mexican, FOG has received names of 22 of the 59 employees who were laid off.<\/p>\n<p>Welsh said she\u2019s getting tired of waiting for those other 11 agencies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re still pretty far from getting to the bottom of this,\u201d the newspaper quoted her as saying.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt goes to show how important it is in this kind of environment for the requester to spend a lot of energy on this. This is my job and I\u2019m having a hard time following up,\u201d Welsh said. \u201cIt should be a lot easier.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Not responding to a request violates state law.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Though Gov.
