\"\"<\/a>Though the event was billed by his campaign as being closed to the media, a reporter with the Las Vegas Sun<\/a> apparently got to accompany Gov. Bill Richardson<\/a> on Thursday on his journey with the Walk a Day in My Shoes<\/a> campaign. <\/p>\n

So did a reporter for the Associated Press<\/a> and another for the Las Vegas Review-Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Photographers and at least one TV cameraman were also along.<\/p>\n

Richardson<\/st1:city> spent a few hours with a single father who is a social worker in Las Vegas<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>, both at his home and work.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

The Sun article included an interesting observation. When the man\u2019s son told Richardson<\/st1:city> he was in favor of keeping American troops in Iraq<\/st1:country-region>, Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> quickly changed the subject by asking what other issues were important to him. Richardson<\/st1:city> has an aggressive withdrawal plan that includes leaving no residual troops in Iraq<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>.<\/p>\n

If you watch the video below, put together by the Walk a Day in My Shoes campaign, you\u2019ll hear Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> say that most of his campaign appearances are \u201ccanned\u201d and \u201cnot sincere,\u201d but this one was real.<\/p>\n
