\"\"<\/a>Gov. Bill Richardson<\/a> will raise money and attend campaign events in at least five Western states, including New Mexico<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>, in the next week. <\/p>\n

Richardson<\/st1:city> is in the San Antonio<\/st1:city> area of Texas<\/st1:state><\/st1:place> today attending fundraisers, according to a news release<\/a> from his campaign. He\u2019ll be in Dallas and Houston on Wednesday to raise money.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

He then heads to Nevada<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>. Wednesday evening, he\u2019ll give a speech to a Democratic group there.<\/p>\n

<\/o:p><\/p>\n

Still in Nevada<\/st1:state> on Thursday morning, Richardson<\/st1:city> will participate in the Walk a Day in My Shoes<\/a> program, a campaign to educate America<\/st1:place><\/st1:country-region>\u2019s politicians about what it\u2019s like to be the rest of us. He will spend most of the morning with an employee of the Clark County Department of Family Services during office visits. He will meet with local families and tour a child facility, according to the news release.<\/p>\n

That event is closed to the media, but Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> will hold a news conference afterward to discuss it.<\/p>\n

Thursday afternoon, Richardson<\/st1:city> will fly to Denver<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> for a fundraiser. He\u2019ll attempt to raise more money there Friday morning before heading south to Pueblo<\/st1:city>, Colo.<\/st1:state><\/st1:place>, for another fundraiser in the afternoon. He then heads to Alamogordo<\/st1:city> and Carlsbad<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> for fundraisers Friday evening.<\/p>\n

Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> has no campaign events scheduled Saturday.<\/p>\n

On Sunday, he plans to attend fundraisers in Los Angeles<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>, according to the news release. According to the Richardson for President Yahoo! Group<\/a>, He plans to be in San Jose<\/st1:city>, Calif.<\/st1:state><\/st1:place>, on June 12 to speak to a Hispanic group.<\/p>\n

One notable change in the newest schedule sent out by Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s campaign. He\u2019s holding more \u201cpress availability\u201d events at airports before he leaves cities. Maybe he\u2019s trying to get more media attention.
