He has said recently that he\u2019s considering running next year but hasn\u2019t made a decision.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The DCCC is the official campaign organization of House Democrats. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Pearce has already drawn two Democratic challengers \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kisslingforcongress.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Al Kissling<\/a>, who ran unsuccessfully against him last year, and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.billmccamley.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bill McCamley<\/a>, a <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Do\u00f1a<\/st1:placename>  <st1:placename st=\"on\">Ana<\/st1:placename> <st1:placename st=\"on\">County<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place> commissioner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I was unable to reach Cervantes for comment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<p style=\"font-style: italic; font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">Update, 10:25 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Though he met with the DCCC, I\u2019m told Cervantes didn\u2019t meet with anyone from the office of Rep. <a href=\"http:\/\/tomudall.house.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tom Udall<\/a>, the state\u2019s only Democrat in the House. For a Democrat seriously considering becoming a House candidate, I would think meeting with Udall or his staff would be at least as important as meeting with the DCCC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>State Rep.
