Johnson, however, didn\u2019t give the contribution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The sheriff in <st1:city st=\"on\">Waco<\/st1:City>, <st1:state st=\"on\">Texas<\/st1:State> is investigating, but <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:City>\u2019s spokesman told the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abqtrib.com\/news\/2007\/may\/16\/richardson-camp-says-explanation-check-come\/\" target=\"_blank\">Albuquerque Tribune<\/a> that the mixup was the result of a clerical error by a campaign staffer. He didn\u2019t elaborate.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:City> campaign filed an amended report this week clarifying that the contribution didn\u2019t come from Johnson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
