(<a href=\"https:\/\/creativecommons.org\/licenses\/by-sa\/2.0\/\" target=\"_blank\">photo cc info<\/a>)<\/p><\/div>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Democrat <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/04\/12\/17107\/12-things-know-about-hillary-clinton\" target=\"_blank\">Hillary Clinton<\/a>\u2019s presidential campaign is making Republican <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/06\/16\/17488\/9-things-know-about-donald-trump\" target=\"_blank\">Donald Trump<\/a> \u2014 a man who can\u2019t stop bragging about his billions \u2014 look like a political pauper.<\/p>\n<p>Clinton\u2019s campaign, along with a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/04\/07\/19528\/inside-hillary-clintons-big-money-cavalry\" target=\"_blank\">network<\/a> of supportive super PACs, has charged out to a significant fundraising lead as Election 2016 shifts into general election mode.<\/p>\n<p>But while Trump\u2019s understaffed and decidedly unorthodox campaign lacks raw cash, it continues to enjoy blanket <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2016\/03\/16\/upshot\/measuring-donald-trumps-mammoth-advantage-in-free-media.html\" target=\"_blank\">media<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/trump-has-gotten-nearly-3-billion-in-free-advertising-2016-05-06\" target=\"_blank\">coverage<\/a> that Clinton\u2019s machine is attempting to battle with nonstop <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2016\/06\/20\/politics\/donald-trump-television-ads\/\" target=\"_blank\">advertising<\/a>.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"module align-left half type-aside\">\n<h3>About this article<\/h3>\n<p>This story comes from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/06\/21\/19795\/hillary-clinton-crushing-donald-trump-white-house-cash-dash\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Public Integrity<\/a>, a nonprofit, nonpartisan investigative media organization in Washington, D.C. Tracking the candidates, political committees and nonprofits that are making this presidential election the most expensive in history.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/politics\/buying-president-2016?utm_campaign=syndication&amp;utm_source=yahoo-news&amp;utm_medium=taxonomy-link\" target=\"_blank\">Click here<\/a> to read more stories in this investigation.<\/p>\n<\/aside>\n<p>Here\u2019s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Public Integrity<\/a> rundown of the more telling \u2014 and curious \u2014 statistics to emerge from this latest round of campaign finance filings covering activity during May:<\/p>\n<p><strong>$173,597,679: <\/strong>The amount by which Clinton\u2019s campaign has outraised that of Trump during the 2016 election. Entering June, Clinton\u2019s fundraising machine had pulled in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/10\/16\/18631\/see-how-much-2016-presidential-candidates-have-raised-so-far\" target=\"_blank\">more than three-and-a-half times<\/a> as much money as Trump\u2019s. She had raised <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00575795\/1079219\/\" target=\"_blank\">about $238 million<\/a> for her campaign (not counting supportive super PACs), while Trump had collected <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00580100\/1079423\/\" target=\"_blank\">about $65 million<\/a> \u2014 largely from his own money. Most recent polls give Clinton a <a href=\"http:\/\/elections.huffingtonpost.com\/pollster\/2016-general-election-trump-vs-clinton\" target=\"_blank\">modest lead<\/a> in the presidential race, although Trump has praised his campaign\u2019s thriftiness. &#8220;I spend much less money than her and the results so far [are] the same. I should be credited for that,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SopanDeb\/status\/745034118111498241\" target=\"_blank\">Trump told FOX News host Bill O&#8217;Reilly<\/a> Monday night.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$46,098,694: <\/strong>The amount Trump has contributed to his own campaign, mostly in the form of loans his\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.usnews.com\/news\/politics\/articles\/2016-03-09\/trump-wont-repay-presidential-campaign-loans-manager-says\" target=\"_blank\">campaign says<\/a> Trump won\u2019t collect on. Sure, $46 million-plus is serious scratch for most Americans. But in Trump terms, it\u2019s a pittance \u2014 not even 8 percent of the way toward the $600 million <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/06\/17\/19762\/donald-trumps-big-money-bait-and-switch\" target=\"_blank\">that Trump once said<\/a> he could personally pump into a presidential campaign.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$13,747,372: <\/strong>The amount Right to Rise USA\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00571372\/1078799\/sb\/28A\" target=\"_blank\">refunded<\/a> to its donors in May. The super PAC, which backed former Florida Gov. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/06\/15\/17142\/12-things-know-about-jeb-bush\" target=\"_blank\">Jeb Bush<\/a>\u2019s presidential bid, had raised more than $121 million and spent nearly all of its haul before Bush<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/jeb-bush-suspends-2016-campaign\/2016\/02\/20\/d3a7315a-d721-11e5-be55-2cc3c1e4b76b_story.html\" target=\"_blank\"> withdrew<\/a> from the race in February. The super PAC, which can raise and spent unlimited amounts of money,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/miamiherald.typepad.com\/nakedpolitics\/2016\/04\/jeb-bush-super-pac-lays-out-plan-to-refund-12m-to-donors.html\" target=\"_blank\">said<\/a> it would refund a minimum of 10 percent to donors who gave $1,000 or more to back Bush\u2019s fight for the Republican nomination. At the end of May, Right to Rise USA had a little more than $3 million\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00571372\/1078799\/sb\/28A\" target=\"_blank\">left in the bank<\/a>.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>$9,235,391:<\/strong> The amount Democratic presidential candidate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/04\/30\/17261\/12-things-know-about-bernie-sanders\" target=\"_blank\">Bernie Sanders<\/a>\u00a0had in the bank entering June, after raising <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/10\/16\/18631\/see-how-much-2016-presidential-candidates-have-raised-so-far\" target=\"_blank\">more than $229 million<\/a> and spending <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00577130\/1079424\/\" target=\"_blank\">about $220 million<\/a> since he launched his 2016 bid last year. Sanders appears to have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/06\/07\/19755\/defiant-bernie-sanders-pours-remaining-cash-last-ditch-ad-blitz\" target=\"_blank\">burned through<\/a> much of his remaining cash competing in the final Democratic presidential primaries. In June, his campaign sponsored\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/06\/07\/19758\/hillary-clinton-and-bernie-sanders-battled-tv-airwaves\" target=\"_blank\">about 2,000 TV ads<\/a>, as he beat out Clinton in Montana and North Dakota but lost delegate-rich contests in other states such as California and New Jersey.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$8,966,466: <\/strong>The amount <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00575431\/1079204\/sb\/28A\" target=\"_blank\">refunded<\/a> by pro-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/03\/23\/16947\/ted-cruzs-presidential-cash-hunt-commences\" target=\"_blank\">Ted Cruz<\/a> super PAC Keep the Promise II to GOP megadonor and energy investor <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/politics\/first-draft\/2015\/07\/31\/the-man-behind-the-10-million-donation-to-a-ted-cruz-super-pac\/\" target=\"_blank\">Toby Neugebauer<\/a>. Neugebauer last year contributed $10 million to Keep the Promise II, which added financial heft to Cruz\u2019s emerging candidacy. But later, the group <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2016\/03\/14\/politics\/ted-cruz-super-pac-10-million\/\" target=\"_blank\">drew ire<\/a> from Cruz supporters for not spending significantly during the primary election cycle. Neugebauer, who has since endorsed Trump, told the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Public Integrity<\/a> in May that he had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/05\/18\/19686\/pro-ted-cruz-super-pacs-mull-options-their-millions\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cnot yet focused\u201d<\/a> on the future of Keep the Promise II. Keep the Promise II has since <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00575431\/1079204\/\" target=\"_blank\">terminated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$6,966,000: <\/strong>The total amount <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00003418\/1079207\/\" target=\"_blank\">owed<\/a> to BB&amp;T bank by the Republican National Committee, according to its most recent campaign finance filing, which showed it borrowed approximately $2 million of that amount in May. That\u2019s less debt than the $9.9 million the RNC reported carrying in June 2012, but the party also reported a lot less cash on hand \u2014 $19.9 million, compared to $60.8 million at the same point <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00003418\/833553\/\" target=\"_blank\">four years ago<\/a>. One possible comfort: The Democratic National Committee owes even more, <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00010603\/1079360\/\" target=\"_blank\">reporting<\/a> more than $7.9 million in debt at the end of May to Amalgamated Bank Of New York and a variety of other creditors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$3 million: <\/strong>The amount conservative billionaire <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/charles-koch\/\" target=\"_blank\">Charles Koch<\/a> donated to the Freedom Partners Action Fund in May. The super PAC has so far this election cycle only invested in Republicans competing for U.S. Senate seats. The Koch brothers have yet to endorse Trump or contribute to his presidential bid. Since January 2015, Freedom Partners Action Fund has raised nearly $21 million. The Kochs\u2019 extensive political network intends to spend <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/koch-network-focuses-on-senate-races--but-voters-want-to-talk-trump\/2016\/06\/20\/e643e2de-349d-11e6-8758-d58e76e11b12_story.html\" target=\"_blank\">about $250 million<\/a>\u00a0influencing elections in 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$1,888,032:<\/strong> The amount <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/04\/13\/17058\/12-things-know-about-marco-rubio\" target=\"_blank\">Marco Rubio<\/a>\u2019s presidential campaign <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00458844\/1079053\/sd\/12\" target=\"_blank\">owed creditors<\/a> at the end of May. Rubio\u2019s latest single debt \u2014 more than $721,000 \u2014 is owed to political data consulting firm <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flsconnect.com\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\">FLS Connect<\/a> for telemarketing services. Rubio, who is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2016\/06\/17\/politics\/david-jolly-marco-rubio-senate-race\/\" target=\"_blank\">mulling<\/a> whether to seek <a href=\"http:\/\/www.news4jax.com\/news\/rubio-takes-aim-at-senate-seat\" target=\"_blank\">re-election<\/a>\u00a0to his U.S. Senate seat, isn\u2019t alone among GOP presidential also-rans in his indebtedness. Wisconsin Gov.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/07\/13\/17225\/12-things-know-about-scott-walker\" target=\"_blank\">Scott Walker<\/a>\u2019s campaign, for example, <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00580480\/1079095\/sd\/12\" target=\"_blank\">still owes<\/a> 25 creditors a collective $807,675 \u2014 about nine months after Walker quit the race. And the presidential campaign of Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/04\/07\/17068\/12-things-know-about-rand-paul\" target=\"_blank\">Rand Paul<\/a>, R-Ky., owes almost 50 vendors <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00575449\/1079223\/sd\/12\" target=\"_blank\">nearly $311,000<\/a>. But some former candidates are squarely in the black. Cruz <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00574624\/1079356\/\" target=\"_blank\">retained<\/a> more than $6.8 million through May. Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/05\/04\/17280\/9-things-know-about-ben-carson\" target=\"_blank\">Ben Carson<\/a> reported a net <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00573519\/1079198\/\" target=\"_blank\">$1.57 million<\/a> left in his campaign account, and Ohio Gov. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/04\/22\/17209\/9-things-know-about-john-kasich\" target=\"_blank\">John Kasich<\/a> ended last month with <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00581876\/1079102\/\" target=\"_blank\">more than $552,000<\/a> in the bank.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$851,245:<\/strong> The average amount that Clinton raised per day during May, as her campaign committee pulled in <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00575795\/1079219\/\" target=\"_blank\">more than $26 million<\/a>. To date, her campaign has now raised more than $238 million, with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mjbeckel\/status\/745006908675862532\" target=\"_blank\">about $1 of every $5<\/a> coming from small-dollar donors who gave $200 or less. Trump has collected a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mjbeckel\/status\/745071617064243200\" target=\"_blank\">similar portion<\/a> of funds from such small-dollar donors.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$300,000: <\/strong>The amount that Republican <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2015\/05\/04\/17278\/12-things-know-about-carly-fiorina\" target=\"_blank\">Carly Fiorina<\/a>\u2019s failed presidential campaign has transferred to a <a href=\"http:\/\/ivn.us\/2013\/03\/30\/hybrid-super-pacs-growing-in-popularity\/\" target=\"_blank\">hybrid super PAC<\/a> that Fiorina <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bustle.com\/articles\/149944-why-did-carly-fiorina-launch-carly-for-america-again-its-not-what-youre-thinking\" target=\"_blank\">helped launch<\/a>\u00a0about <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/pdf\/498\/201603029009634498\/201603029009634498.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">a month<\/a> after she dropped out of the 2016 White House race. Of that sum, <a href=\"https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/itemizer\/filing\/1079129\/schedule\/sb#SB290001\" target=\"_blank\">$250,000 came in May<\/a>. Fiorina\u2019s new group, known as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theblaze.com\/stories\/2016\/03\/25\/fiorina-has-relaunched-carly-for-america-with-a-new-mission-that-might-worry-some-in-the-republican-party\/\" target=\"_blank\">Carly for America<\/a>, has also received nearly twice that amount from the pro-Fiorina super PAC, which was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.motherjones.com\/politics\/2015\/12\/uncampaign-2016-fiorina-trump-carson-pac\" target=\"_blank\">legally prohibited<\/a> from coordinating its spending with her presidential campaign. Super PAC CARLY for America \u2014 short for Conservative, Authentic, Responsive Leadership for You and America \u2014<a href=\"https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/itemizer\/filing\/1079046\/schedule\/sb#SB23.I7322\" target=\"_blank\">donated $575,000<\/a> to Carly for America on May 26, according to a new campaign finance filing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$100,000: <\/strong>What the Entertainment Software Association, a trade group that spends millions of dollars each year <a href=\"http:\/\/www.opensecrets.org\/lobby\/clientsum.php?id=D000025695&amp;year=2016\" target=\"_blank\">lobbying<\/a> the federal government, <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00484642\/1079022\/sa\/ALL\/1\" target=\"_blank\">gave in May<\/a>\u00a0to Senate Majority PAC, a super PAC closely aligned with the Democratic Party. The contribution \u2014 part of Senate Majority PAC\u2019s $4.7 million haul last month \u2014 is the latest\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/04\/07\/19521\/how-citizens-united-helping-hillary-clinton-win-white-house\" target=\"_blank\">example<\/a> of Democrat-backing super PACs accepting money from corporations, nonprofits and other entities that aren\u2019t by law required to publicly disclose their root funders. Many Democrats (including the <a href=\"https:\/\/assets.documentcloud.org\/documents\/2878035\/Darkmoney4.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/2877925-darkmoney3.html\" target=\"_blank\">Senate Majority PAC itself<\/a>) have decried what they like to dub \u201cdark money.\u201d Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coons.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press-releases\/senator-coons-reintroduces-bill-to-require-increased-transparency-from-super-pacs\" target=\"_blank\">most<\/a> congressional Democrats <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jeffmerkley.com\/2016\/02\/09\/sign-petition-shine-light-dark-money\/\" target=\"_blank\">have<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.whitehouse.senate.gov\/news\/release\/senators-reintroduce-disclose-act-on-anniversary-of-citizens-united-decision\" target=\"_blank\">supported<\/a> legislation such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.congress.gov\/bill\/114th-congress\/senate-bill\/229\" target=\"_blank\">DISCLOSE Act<\/a>, which aims to outlaw secret political cash.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$36,906: <\/strong>Value of the greenbacks in the Green Party of the United States\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00370221\/1079373\/\" target=\"_blank\">account<\/a> heading into June. While Jill Stein, the presumptive Green Party presidential nominee, has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/magazine\/story\/2016\/06\/2016-campaign-election-hillary-clinton-bernie-sanders-green-party-jill-stein-progressives-liberal-213972\" target=\"_blank\">high hopes<\/a> for her insurgent bid, her national party\u2019s resources are but a tiny fraction of what the DNC and RNC boast. For perspective: the Green Party couldn\u2019t pay cash for even one 2017 Ford Fusion Hybrid Platinum Sedan \u2014 manufacturer\u2019s suggested retail price of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ford.com\/cars\/fusion\/trim\/platinumhybrid\/\" target=\"_blank\">$37,020<\/a>. Stein\u2019s campaign itself is doing a bit better, posting a <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/pres\/2016\/M6\/C00581199.html#SUMMARY\" target=\"_blank\">cash-on-hand total<\/a> of about $196,000 through May.<\/p>\n<p><strong>$25,000: <\/strong>The amount billionaire media mogul <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forbes.com\/profile\/stanley-hubbard\/\" target=\"_blank\">Stan Hubbard<\/a> of Minnesota\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/projects.propublica.org\/itemizer\/filing\/1079388\/schedule\/sa#SA17.293509\" target=\"_blank\">donated in May<\/a> to Great America PAC, a pro-Trump super PAC. Great America PAC has raised <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00608489\/1079388\/\" target=\"_blank\">more than $2.5 million<\/a> since its formation in February, but high-profile donors not named Hubbard have been largely absent. To date, most of Great America PAC\u2019s nominally pro-Trump TV ads have prominently urged viewers to call 1-800 numbers, leading some critics to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.politico.com\/story\/2016\/05\/scammers-feast-of-trump-fundraising-disarray-223141\" target=\"_blank\">raise concerns<\/a>\u00a0about the group. However, a new spot, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fcqx1CGex1A\" target=\"_blank\">unveiled Friday<\/a>, features a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2016\/06\/20\/politics\/trump-super-pac-orlando\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">former Navy SEAL endorsing Trump<\/a> as a strong leader at a time in which the tragedy in Orlando stands as &#8220;a stark reminder that the enemy and the battlefield is moving here to our shores.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>$6,043: <\/strong>The amount the Trump campaign spent in May on office supplies from online retailer Amazon. That\u2019d be entirely unremarkable if the Trump campaign hadn\u2019t, in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2016\/06\/14\/trump-revokes-washington-posts-press-credentials.html\" target=\"_blank\">revoking<\/a> the <em>Washington Post<\/em>\u2019s campaign credentials, released this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.documentcloud.org\/documents\/2889222-Screen-Shot-2016-06-20-at-10-44-57-PM.html\" target=\"_blank\">statement<\/a> on June 13: \u201cThe <em>Washington Post<\/em> is being used by the owners of Amazon as their political lobbyist so that they don&#8217;t have to pay taxes and don&#8217;t get sued for monopolistic tendencies that have led to the destruction of department stores and the retail industry.\u201d The <em>Washington Post\u00a0<\/em>is owned by billionaire Jeff Bezos, who is also Amazon\u2019s founder and chief executive.<\/p>\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"field-item even\">\n<div class=\"body-copy-inner\">\n<p><strong>$3,938: <\/strong>What upstart vintner <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/updates\/inside-the-trump-winery-come-for-the-politics-stay-for-the-pinot\/\" target=\"_blank\">Eric Trump Wine Manufacturing LLC<\/a> of Charlottesville, Va. \u2014 Eric Trump being Donald Trump\u2019s adult son \u2014 earned in May from his father\u2019s presidential campaign.<\/p>\n<p><strong>98.8: <\/strong>Percentage of the $12.1 million pro-Clinton super PAC Priorities USA Action <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00495861\/1079220\/\" target=\"_blank\">raised<\/a> in May from just <a href=\"http:\/\/docquery.fec.gov\/cgi-bin\/forms\/C00495861\/1079220\/sa\/ALL\" target=\"_blank\">14 individuals or entities<\/a>. Top donors last month included media mogul Fred Eychaner ($3 million), financier Donald Sussman ($2 million) and private investor Bernard Schwartz ($1 million). Political organizations controlled by three labor unions \u2014 the American Federation of Teachers, Laborers International Union of North America and International Union of Operating Engineers \u2014 each also gave $1 million to the super PAC, which has sponsored a torrent of anti-Trump advertising <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/01\/21\/19164\/tracking-tv-ads-2016-presidential-race\" target=\"_blank\">in recent weeks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"field-item odd\">\n<div class=\"body-copy-inner\">\n<p><strong>73.7: <\/strong>Percentage of the roughly $190,000 spent by Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson in May that went to the consulting firm of his campaign manager, Ron Nielson. In late May, Johnson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/post-politics\/wp\/2016\/05\/29\/gary-johnson-wins-libertarian-presidential-nomination\/\" target=\"_blank\">officially became<\/a> the Libertarian Party\u2019s nominee. But ahead of the party\u2019s convention, his spending habits <a href=\"https:\/\/www.publicintegrity.org\/2016\/05\/26\/19730\/libertarian-presidential-hopeful-s-spending-consultants-draws-ire\" target=\"_blank\">drew criticism in some quarters<\/a>. (His 2012 presidential campaign is also still about $1.9 million in the red.)
