The campaign ended the reporting period with $392,359.18 on hand.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s far short of the $1,044,742.42 that Democratic U.S. Rep. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.martinheinrich.com\/\">Martin Heinrich<\/a>, the 1st District\u2019s representative, had on hand at the end of the reporting period. Heinrich\u2019s report, filed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/04\/heinrich-raises-300k-in-first-quarter-of-2010\/\">earlier today<\/a>, indicated that he raised $300,233.83 during the first quarter of the year and spent $90,122.64.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But Barela\u2019s fundraising during the last three months is much better than what he did during any quarter in 2009. From October to December, for example, Barela raised $113,070.<\/p>\n<p>To date, Barela has raised $526,097.82 for his campaign.
