That work led to the new, unofficial results released today.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The numbers didn\u2019t change much \u2013 tax supporters lost 78 votes and opponents lost 47 \u2013 but in such a close race, it mattered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Ellins also noted that, thus far today, elections workers have rejected fewer than 5 percent of provisional ballots. Historically, the percentage rejected has been as high as, roughly, 33 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cWe\u2019re rejecting very few,\u201d Ellins said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">He said he hopes to have all provisional ballots counted by Friday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">For those of you who are interested, I\u2019ve uploaded a breakdown of the unofficial results by precinct.
