Damron<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I reported Tuesday that Democrat <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mikeanaya.org\/index.html\">Mike Anaya<\/a> had <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/03\/anaya-drops-land-commissioner-bid-endorses-powell\/\">dropped his bid<\/a> for state land commissioner after failing to win the support of 20 percent of delegates at the party\u2019s preprimary nominating convention. Tuesday was the day those who wanted to stay in their races after failing to get 20 percent at the party\u2019s conventions had to file additional signatures, and a few more candidates dropped out.<\/p>\n<p>Those who dropped their bids include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.damronforltgovernor.com\/\">J.R.
