Bill Richardson\u2019s poll numbers in two key states aren\u2019t showing a lot of improvement, at least not yet.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The polls, conducted last week by <a href=\"http:\/\/americanresearchgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">American Research Group<\/a>, show that <st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city> isn\u2019t making any headway among Democratic contenders in <st1:state st=\"on\">Iowa<\/st1:state> and <st1:state st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">New Hampshire<\/st1:place><\/st1:state>, two of four states that are holding primary contests in January.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In <st1:state st=\"on\">Iowa<\/st1:state>, the poll found <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s support at 1 percent, which is where it has been since the first poll in December. In <st1:state st=\"on\">New Hampshire<\/st1:state>, <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s support was at 2 percent, which is where it\u2019s been for the last four months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city> was tied with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chrisdodd.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Chris Dodd<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/kucinich.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dennis Kucinich<\/a> for sixth place among Democratic contenders in the <a href=\"http:\/\/americanresearchgroup.com\/pres08\/iadem8-704.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Iowa poll<\/a>, with 10 percent of those surveyed saying they were undecided. With 12 percent undecided in the <a href=\"http:\/\/americanresearchgroup.com\/pres08\/nhdem8-704.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">New Hampshire poll<\/a>, <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> was tied for fourth place with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.joebiden.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joe Biden<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The situation wasn\u2019t much better in the other two states where surveys were done last week. <st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city> had the support of 4 percent of those surveyed in <a href=\"http:\/\/americanresearchgroup.com\/pres08\/txdem8-701.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Texas<\/a> and 2 percent in <a href=\"http:\/\/americanresearchgroup.com\/pres08\/ardem8-701.shtml\" target=\"_blank\">Arkansas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Each poll queried 600 likely Democratic caucus goers from March 19-22 and has a margin of error of 4 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The stagnation in the polls was noted by the left-leaning blog <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebluestate.com\/2007\/03\/ame_releases_ne.html\" target=\"_blank\">The Blue State<\/a> on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cBill Richardson is not making any progress in the polls at all,\u201d Chief Editor Todd Haskins wrote. \u201cHe is the only governor left in the Democratic field of candidates.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gov.
