A year after that, it will be $7.50.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">During a brief appearance in <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Santa Fe<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> between presidential campaign trips, Gov. <a href=\"http:\/\/governor.state.nm.us\/\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Richardson<\/a> signed a bill today that raises the minimum wage. <a href=\"http:\/\/legis.state.nm.us\/lcs\/_session.asp?chamber=S&#038;type=++&amp;number=324&#038;Submit=Search&amp;year=07\" target=\"_blank\">Senate Bill 324<\/a>, sponsored by Senate President Pro Tem <a href=\"http:\/\/legis.state.nm.us\/lcs\/legdetails.asp?Name=250\" target=\"_blank\">Ben Altamirano<\/a>, <st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">D-Silver<\/st1:placename> <st1:placetype st=\"on\">City<\/st1:placetype><\/st1:place>, does not allow automatic cost-of-living increases and exempts agricultural workers.
