{"id":14040,"date":"2010-03-02T23:34:02","date_gmt":"2010-03-03T06:34:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/?p=14040"},"modified":"2010-03-02T23:36:54","modified_gmt":"2010-03-03T06:36:54","slug":"incumbents-win-in-hatch-lose-in-sunland-park","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/03\/incumbents-win-in-hatch-lose-in-sunland-park\/","title":{"rendered":"Incumbents win in Hatch, lose in Sunland Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Incumbents won re-election bids in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Hatch,_New_Mexico\">Hatch<\/a> on Tuesday but &#8211; with the exception of one incumbent who was unopposed &#8211; they lost in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sunland_Park,_New_Mexico\">Sunland Park<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In Hatch, Mayor Judd Nordyke won re-election with 127 votes to Kathie Franzoy\u2019s 69 votes.<\/p>\n<p>And with four candidates competing for two seats on the Hatch Board of Trustees, incumbent Andy Nu\u00f1ez \u00a0&#8211; who is also a state representative &#8211; was re-elected with 128 votes. Incumbent Roberto Torres was re-elected with 87 votes. Challengers Dave Sment and Joe Nu\u00f1ez lost with 80 and 73 votes, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In Sunland Park, the opposite was true.<\/p>\n<p>Incumbent Municipal Judge Rose Camarillo was ousted.
