Speaker of the House <a href=\"http:\/\/legis.state.nm.us\/lcs\/legdetails.asp?Name=204&amp;Submit=Search\" target=\"_blank\">Ben Lujan<\/a> picked Cervantes to run the floor session while he presented a bill and walked around the House floor to chat with members.  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">While Cervantes was in charge, one of the members asked to make a motion at a point when doing so wasn\u2019t the norm. Cervantes paused for a moment before telling the member to state his motion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">The member chuckled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cI just wanted to make you sweat,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He withdrew last year from a bid to become House majority leader, but State Rep.
