Turner said he has never used any other illegal drug.<\/p>\n<p>Arnold-Jones, who is on a fundraising trip in New Jersey, told NMPolitics.net today that she tried a marijuana cigarette once, with her boyfriend, in 1972 while she was attending UNM, but said she \u201cdidn\u2019t like it.\u201d She also said she bought a pack of cigarettes 30 years ago, but after smoking just nine, decided she didn\u2019t like them either.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7929\"  class=\"wp-caption module image alignright\" style=\"max-width: 120px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7929\" title=\"Arnold Jones, Janice\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Arnold-Jones-Janice.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Janice Arnold-Jones<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Republicans <a href=\"http:\/\/allenweh2010.com\/\">Allen Weh<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/susanamartinez2010.com\/\">Susana Martinez<\/a> told NMPolitics.net, through their spokespeople, that they have never smoked marijuana or used any other illegal drug.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dianedenish.com\">Diane Denish<\/a>, the Democratic candidate for governor, was traveling and did not respond to a question about whether she&#8217;s ever tried illegal drugs in time for this posting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update, Feb. 24, 7:45 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>NMPolitics.net checked with the Denish campaign again today.
