Pete Domenici Jr.<\/p><\/div>\n

Republican gubernatorial candidate\u00a0Pete Domenici Jr.<\/a> will release information about campaign contributions he\u2019s been collecting on Monday.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s according to Domenici spokesman Doug Antoon.<\/p>\n

Antoon originally said, when Domenici entered the race in January, that the campaign had \u201cno problem with monthly reporting<\/a> of all contributions. If we can do it more than monthly we will.\u201d He later said the first voluntary report would come before February.<\/p>\n

Antoon said Monday, which is March 1, will be the day because the last day of February falls on a Sunday.<\/p>\n

The next required finance report is due on April 12, but Democratic gubernatorial candidate Diane Denish<\/a> started the trend of voluntarily releasing reports quarterly<\/a>, even in off-election years when it\u2019s not required, more than two years ago. Her most recent report came\u00a0in January<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Republican\u00a0Susana Martinez<\/a> has\u00a0matched Denish<\/a> in voluntarily releasing a report of contributions and expenditures for the fourth quarter of 2009.<\/p>\n

Republican\u00a0Janice Arnold-Jones<\/a> has gone well beyond that in terms of disclosure of campaign contributions.\u00a0She has been posting on\u00a0her campaign Web site<\/a> information about every contribution she\u2019s received to date, and she is keeping the list of contributions current.<\/p>\n

But unlike Denish and Martinez, Arnold-Jones has not been releasing information about campaign expenditures more often than is required by state law.<\/p>\n

Republican\u00a0Doug Turner<\/a> has said\u00a0\u201cmaybe\u201d<\/a> in response to my question about whether he would voluntarily release a finance report. And the campaign of Republican\u00a0Allen Weh<\/a> has said he is\u00a0\u201cconsidering\u201d<\/a> doing the same.<\/p>\n

The responses from Turner and Weh came more than a month ago. I e-mailed those campaigns on Monday seeking updates, and have yet to receive responses.<\/p>\n

Update, 11 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n
