{"id":12504,"date":"2010-02-03T14:31:21","date_gmt":"2010-02-03T21:31:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/?p=12504"},"modified":"2010-02-03T14:32:12","modified_gmt":"2010-02-03T21:32:12","slug":"mullins-hasnt-yet-filed-report-with-fec","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/02\/mullins-hasnt-yet-filed-report-with-fec\/","title":{"rendered":"Mullins hasn&#8217;t yet filed report with FEC"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_7910\"  class=\"wp-caption module image alignleft\" style=\"max-width: 120px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-7910\" title=\"Mullins, Tom\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Mullins-Tom.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Tom Mullins<\/p><\/div>\n<h4>But congressional candidate&#8217;s fourth-quarter campaign finance report is available on his campaign Web site<\/h4>\n<p>Republican 3rd Congressional District candidate\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mullinsforcongress.com\/\">Tom Mullins<\/a> has not filed his year-end financial report with the Federal Election Commission &#8211;\u00a0which was due on Jan. 31 &#8211; because, he says,\u00a0his &#8220;volunteer campaign treasurer is having difficulty converting the numbers using the forms on the FEC&#8217;s Web site.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>For now he has decided to post some information from his financial report on his\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mullinsforcongress.com\/blog\/?p=48\">campaign&#8217;s Web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We posted the numbers on our blog this weekend,&#8221; Mullins told NMPolitics.net this morning. &#8220;We put them up after\u00a0discovering the information had not been uploaded to the official government site on time.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Mullins said the campaign will have to pay &#8220;a couple of hundred dollars in fines,&#8221; and hopes to sort out the problem before the next filing deadline at the end of March.<\/p>\n<p>On his campaign Web site, Mullins indicated he collected $45,274 in \u00a0fourth quarter receipts, which is almost $7,000 more than his primary opponent\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kokeshforcongress.com\/\">Adam Kokesh<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Mullins also blogged that he spent $14,300.64 from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31 and, at the end of\u00a02009,\u00a0had $30,973.36 cash on hand &#8211;\u00a0significantly more than Kokesh, who reported having $4,863.13 on hand at the end of the year.<\/p>\n<p>Kokesh&#8217;s campaign <a href=\"http:\/\/kokeshforcongress.com\/posts\/thank-you-grassroots-patriots\">claims<\/a> it raised more than $30,000 with a &#8220;birthday bomb&#8221; donation campaign tied to Kokesh&#8217;s 28th birthday on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Incumbent Democrat Rep. Ben Ray Lujan&#8217;s year-end\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/query.nictusa.com\/cgi-bin\/dcdev\/forms\/C00443689\/449761\/\">report <\/a>showed receipts of $112,073.84 in the final quarter and an election cycle total of $532,073.17.
