Officials canvassed the election and tallied provisional ballots this morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">In the Gadsden District 2 race, the only race that was decided by provisionals, incumbent Jennifer Viramontes held off challenger Rodolfo Franco by eight votes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Here are all the results from Tuesday\u2019s election:<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size:130%;\">Las Cruces Public Schools<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 4<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Bonnie Votaw: 769 votes, 82.6 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Larry Garcia: 162 votes, 17.4 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 5<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Connie Phillips: 737 votes, 82.3 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">David Morgan: 121 votes, 13.5 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Sharon Wooden (i): 38 votes, 4.2 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size:130%;\"><st1:place st=\"on\"><st1:placename st=\"on\">Gadsden<\/st1:placename>  <st1:placename st=\"on\">Independent<\/st1:placename> <st1:placetype st=\"on\">School   District<\/st1:placetype><\/st1:place><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 1<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Manuela Huerta (i): 304 votes, 56.4 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Luz Vargas-Troncoso: 235 votes, 43.6 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 2<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Jennifer Viramontes (i): 176 votes, 51.2 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Rodolfo Franco: 168 votes, 48.8 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 3<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Maria Saenz (i): 51 votes, 100 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 4<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Daniel Castillo (i): 120 votes, 61.5 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Elva Flores: 75 votes, 38.5 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 5<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Craig Ford: 80 votes, 43.7 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Charles Gonnell (i): 71 votes, 38.8 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Robert Zinsmaster: 32 votes, 17.5 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size:130%;\">Hatch Valley Public Schools<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 2<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Douglas Scott Adams (i): 11 votes, 100 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 3<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* David Franzoy (i): 43 votes, 63.2 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Dencil Duane Gillis: 25 votes, 36.8 percent<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\" class=\"MsoNormal\">District 5<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">* Donald Hackey (i): Six votes, 100 percent<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The official results from the three school board elections in Do\u00f1a Ana County are in.
