Larry Garcia, the other candidate for the open board seat, has 105 votes, or 18 percent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Votaw said, with a chuckle, that she\u2019s not ready to declare victory, then gave a quote that sounds like it\u2019s coming from a winner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cIt was very humbling to work on this campaign, because so many people helped,\u201d she said. \u201c\u2026 It tells me that the schools are important to people.
