{"id":11965,"date":"2010-01-25T17:58:35","date_gmt":"2010-01-26T00:58:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/?p=11965"},"modified":"2010-01-26T20:26:37","modified_gmt":"2010-01-27T03:26:37","slug":"las-cruces-city-council-to-%e2%80%98revisit-certain-terms%e2%80%99-of-manager%e2%80%99s-contract","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/01\/las-cruces-city-council-to-%e2%80%98revisit-certain-terms%e2%80%99-of-manager%e2%80%99s-contract\/","title":{"rendered":"Las Cruces City Council to \u2018revisit certain terms\u2019 of manager\u2019s contract"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"attachment_11668\"  class=\"wp-caption module image alignright\" style=\"max-width: 300px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11668\" title=\"Moore, Terrence 2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Moore-Terrence-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"262\" \/><\/a><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Las Cruces City Manager Terrence Moore (Photo by Heath Haussamen)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/las-cruces.org\/council\/\">Las Cruces City Council<\/a> decided today to \u201crevisit certain terms\u201d of City Manager <a href=\"http:\/\/www.las-cruces.org\/manager\/\">Terrence Moore\u2019s<\/a> contract at a later date and \u201coffer further clarification where needed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s according to a news release sent out by the city moments after <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/01\/las-cruces-council-to-discuss-city-manager\/\">the council\u2019s closed session<\/a> on issues surrounding Moore\u2019s employment ended this evening.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a result of the meeting, it was agreed by all to, at a later time, revisit certain terms of Mr. Moore\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/nmpolitics.net\/Documents\/TerrenceMooreContract.pdf\">employment agreement<\/a> with the\u00a0City of Las Cruces, and offer further clarification where needed. Mr. Moore has agreed to this and will accept council direction as determined at the later meeting,\u201d Mayor <a href=\"http:\/\/las-cruces.org\/council\/mayor.shtm\">Ken Miyagishima<\/a> said in the release.<\/p>\n<p>No other information about the personnel issue was made available. Moore had no immediate comment except to refer to the news release and direct questions to Miyagishima.<\/p>\n<p>Moore has been under scrutiny lately for at least two issues that have been raised publicly.
