Bill Richardson on Thursday, calling him a \u201cfat sissy,\u201d and \u201cfat baby,\u201d and telling him in Spanish to \u201ckiss my (you know what).\u201d  <\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Don Imus, host of the show <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/3036713\/\" target=\"_blank\">Imus in the Morning<\/a>, which airs on television on MSNBC but doesn\u2019t air on the radio in the Las Cruces area, is mad because he claims Richardson and his staff were rudely unresponsive to a community request to turn an old schoolhouse in Ribera, near Imus\u2019 ranch, into a community center. He said the governor\u2019s office promised to consider it and has dodged the community ever since.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Imus claimed that <st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city> was set to appear on his show Thursday but, after the host began talking about the schoolhouse earlier this week, <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s people demanded an apology and, when it was not forthcoming, \u201cthe fat sissy canceled and he\u2019s not going to be on now.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u201cIf he wants to run for president, he\u2019s got to get his act together, stop being a fat baby about all of this,\u201d Imus said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><st1:city st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:city>\u2019s campaign, through its communications director Pahl Shipley, released a statement to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abqjournal.com\/news\/state\/535125nm02-02-07.htm\" target=\"_blank\">Albuquerque Journal<\/a> saying <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> supports the renovation project \u201cand has been working to secure the funds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">He also said Imus \u201cis eager and is using his position to advocate and his having some fun at our expense, and that\u2019s OK.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Imus called <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city>\u2019s campaign staff an incompetent group not ready for the presidential primetime, and berated Shipley.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><o:p> <\/o:p><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">You can listen to part of Imus\u2019 rant by clicking <a href=\"http:\/\/imusblog.com\/governor-bill-richardson-cancels-appearance-on-imus\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. I\u2019ll also say this: <st1:city st=\"on\"><st1:place st=\"on\">Richardson<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> isn\u2019t fat.
