(Photo by Peter St. Cyr)<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Members of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmlegis.gov\/lcs\/committeedisplay.aspx?CommitteeCode=SJC\">Senate Judiciary Committee<\/a> heard testimony from whistleblower Frank Foy and his attorney Victor Marshall in Santa Fe this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Foy is the former chief investment officer for the state&#8217;s Educational Retirement Board who has lumped a host of pay-to-play allegations into <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2009\/06\/foy-files-expanded-pay-to-play-complaint\/\">a lawsuit<\/a> he&#8217;s filed on behalf of the state.<\/p>\n<p>NMPolitics.net has posted audio from the hearing online <a href=\"http:\/\/ia341341.us.archive.org\/2\/items\/FrankFoyTestifiesAtTheNewMexicoSenateJudiciaryCommitteeMeeting\/FoyTestimony.mp3\">here<\/a>. You can also listen by pressing the play button on the bar at the end of this posting.<\/p>\n<p>I asked the governor&#8217;s office through an e-mail if it was going to release a statement responding to what was said at the hearing.
