Today our focus is on fighting taxes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, three other gubernatorial candidates \u2014 Democrat\u00a0<a title=\"Diane Denish\" href=\"http:\/\/www.dianedenish.com\/\">Diane Denish<\/a> and Republicans\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/susanamartinez2010.com\/\">Susana Martinez<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/janiceforgovernor.com\/\">Janice Arnold-Jones<\/a> \u2014 have already gone beyond what the law requires in terms of campaign finance transparency, and Republican candidate\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/domeniciforgovernor.com\/\">Pete Domenici Jr.<\/a> says he plans to join them.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t have any resistance to that,\u201d Turner said of releasing reports more often than the law requires. \u201cIt\u2019s just that we haven\u2019t been focusing on following every single campaign on, you know, who\u2019s proving that they\u2019re more transparent than the other.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have started off this campaign acknowledging from the beginning that I\u2019m self-funding a significant portion of it, and I will continue to self-fund significant portions of it even while I\u2019m raising money,\u201d Turner said. \u201cI\u2019m raising money from oil and gas industry. I\u2019m raising money from businesses that care about the future of this state. Martinez\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/01\/martinez-raised-143k-in-fourth-quarter\/\">matched Denish<\/a> last week in voluntarily releasing a report of contributions and expenditures for the fourth quarter of 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Arnold-Jones has gone well beyond that in terms of disclosure of campaign contributions.\u00a0She recently posted on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/janiceforgovernor.com\/Supporters\/tabid\/117\/Default.aspx\">her campaign Web site<\/a> information about every contribution she\u2019s received to date, and she is keeping the list of contributions current.<\/p>\n<p>But unlike Denish and Martinez, Arnold-Jones has not been releasing information about campaign expenditures more often than state law requires.<\/p>\n<p>Domenici, who entered the race over the weekend, plans to voluntarily release information about contributions <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nmpolitics.net\/index\/2010\/01\/domenici-jr-to-release-contribution-info-at-least-monthly\/\">at least monthly<\/a>, his spokesman says.<\/p>\n<p>Only Turner and Republican <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allenweh2010.com\/\">Allen Weh<\/a> haven\u2019t agreed to go beyond what the law requires.
