The Democrat is out with an ad that focuses on his \u201cability to build relationships for a better New Mexico,\u201d according to a news release.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign didn\u2019t immediately make the ad available for embedding in this posting, but you can view it on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rael2010.org\/video\">Rael\u2019s Web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The ad is airing on network television in the Albuquerque market and on cable throughout the state, according to the news release.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMost people around the state already know Lawrence\u2019s strong record of achievement,\u201d said Steve Wedeen of Vaughn Wedeen Kuhn, the Albuquerque-based agency that produced the spot.\u00a0\u201cWhat we wanted to show was the unique power of his leadership, from his personal warmth to his integrity and commitment.\u00a0We wanted to show Lawrence up close for the voters to see.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rael is running in the Democratic primary against former state Democratic Party Chairman\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/electcolon.com\/\">Brian Col\u00f3n<\/a>, State Rep.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/joecampos.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joe Campos<\/a> of Santa Rosa and state Sens.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/votelindalopez.com\/default.aspx\">Linda Lopez<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/jerryfornewmexico.com\/\">Jerry Ortiz y Pino<\/a> of Albuquerque.<\/p>\n<p>Five Republicans have announced their candidacies for lieutenant governor \u2014 state Sen.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.kentcravens.com\/\">Kent Cravens<\/a> of Albuquerque, 2006 Republican gubernatorial candidate\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.damronforltgovernor.com\/\">J.R.
