Gov. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dianedenish.com\/\">Diane Denish<\/a>, the presumptive 2010 Democratic gubernatorial nominee, announced three additions to her campaign staff on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Chris Cervini, Denish&#8217;s former chief-of staff and communications director, has been hired as deputy campaign manager, and will oversee communications, research and policy development.<\/p>\n<p>Lynn Trujillo, a member of Sandia Pueblo, will serve as the campaign&#8217;s political director and oversee relationships with key constituencies.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph Casados will serve as the Denish&#8217;s field director.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChris, Lynn and Joe are talented young New Mexicans who understand our state and bring an uncommon commitment to bringing about economic recovery and opportunity for all New Mexicans,\u201d Denish said.<\/p>\n<p>Cervini, Trujillo and Casados join Campaign Manager Oren Shur, Finance Director Steve Fitzer and Research Director Amanda Hurley as the core senior staff for the campaign.<\/p>\n<p>Cervini is a veteran of several New Mexico political campaigns and most recently has worked in corporate communications. She has also served as an associate in the Washington D.C. office of Steptoe &amp; Johnson, LLP. During the 2008 presidential election,\u00a0Trujillo\u00a0worked as a field organizer for the Obama campaign in New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Casados, a native of Taos, received a bachelor&#8217;s degree in philosophy and political science from the University of New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>In 2004, Casados was a Field Organizer for the Kerry-Edwards Coordinated Campaign.
