Richardson’s statement to FOX sticks around

In Washington, D.C. today, Gov. Bill Richardson held a news conference to unveil a plan to develop clean energy through the Apollo Alliance – a group whose aim is to end United States dependence on foreign oil.

Richardson was asked by a reporter from a Bangladesh newspaper how he would work with other nations to reduce the world’s energy demand, “since you have announced you’re running for president,” the Albuquerque Tribune reported.

The governor, the Tribune reported, chuckled and didn’t correct the reporter, then went on to answer the question.
