In District 37, Democrat Jeff Steinborn has taken the lead. He currently has 4,272 votes, or 50.6 percent. Republican Scott Witt has 4,170 votes, or 49.4 percent.
In the District 53 race, Democrat Nate Cote has 2,432 votes, or 50.8 percent. Republican Terry Marquardt has 2,356 votes, or 49.2 percent.
