The majority of those who voted in last week’s non-scientific poll on this site said Congress should approve a bill that would protect more than 350,000 acres of land in Doña Ana County, including the Organ Mountains.

Of 278 voters, 175, or 63 percent, said Congress should approve the bill, while 98, or 35 percent, said Congress should not, and five, or 2 percent, said they don’t know.

Don’t forget to vote in this week’s polls, located at the top of the left column on the home page.
