The border region is growing, but for New Mexico to truly capitalize and diversify its economy, the state must think regionally and strengthen partnerships with El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juárez, Mexico.
That’s what NMPolitics.net’s Heath Haussamen, who covers border and economic issues, told New Mexico In Focus’ Gene Grant during a recent interview. Haussamen also discussed other economic and border issues, including NAFTA and President Trump’s proposed border wall.
