With voting continuing until 7 p.m., there’s been high voter turnout at three polling places in Las Cruces today.
Anyone who’s in line when polls close will have the chance to vote, confirmed David Aguayo, a senior office assistant in the City Clerk’s Office.
There had been 1,041 votes cast at Branigan Library as of 5:50 p.m., Aguayo said. Some 787 Las Crucens had voted at the Doña Ana County Government Center, and 757 had voted at Desert Hills Elementary School.
