The local chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People will moderate a forum for mayoral and city council candidates in Las Cruces on Tuesday.
The forum will be held in the council chambers at City Hall at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
The election is Nov. 3.
Tuesday is also the last day to register to be eligible vote in the upcoming election. You can register at the Doña Ana County Clerk’s Office.
Early voting begins Wednesday. You can vote at the Las Cruces City Clerk’s Office, located on the first floor at City Hall. Early voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday, in addition to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on three Saturdays — Oct. 17, 24, and 31. Oct. 31 is the last day to vote early.
