Mike Huckabee
Former Arkansas Gov. and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will be the keynote speaker at a fundraiser for the Right to Life Committee of N.M. in January.
The group’s focus in 2012 will be electing anti-abortion candidates to seats in the New Mexico Legislature, according to a news release.
“It is truly an honor to have someone the caliber of Governor Mike Huckabee launch our 2012 campaign to elect pro-life candidates around the state of New Mexico,” the group’s president, Betty Eichenseer, said in a news release. “New Mexico is a pro-life state and it’s time our State Legislature reflected the will of the people.”
The event will be held Jan. 12 at 6 p.m. at Sandia Resort.
