Senate photography, filming rule gets media coverage

Following my exchange last week with Sens. John Arthur Smith and Sue Wilson Beffort, the Senate’s controversial rule requiring permission to photograph or film committee meetings is getting some media attention.

KUNM radio in Albuquerque interviewed me about the situation Friday afternoon for a report you can listen to here.

In addition, you can read articles on the situation from The Santa Fe New Mexican and Capitol Report New Mexico.

And a Miami journalist who runs a blog called Photography is Not a Crime weighed in, calling the new Senate rule “overwhelmingly unconstitutional.”
