Republican Steve Pearce appears to have retaken his old congressional seat, defeating Democratic incumbent Harry Teague tonight.
Pearce currently leads 55 percent to 45 percent.
The Pearce campaign is working on getting Pearce on the phone with NMPolitics.net. The Teague campaign hasn’t responded to an e-mail seeking comment.
