Candidates for Doña Ana County sheriff and county commission district 1 will gather in Mesquite this evening for a forum.
The forum will be held at the volunteer fire station located at 1 Firehouse Road in Mesquite and begins at 6 p.m. It’s sponsored by the Mesquite Community Action Committee, SouthWest Organizing Project and Pushback Network.
Such forums have been held in Mesquite since 2004 and are among the most well attended in the county’s south valley.
