U.S. Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M., has begun producing a TV show aimed at giving New Mexicans an inside look at what he is doing and what’s going on in Washington.
The Udall Update is going to be airing on public access channels around the state, such as CLCTV Channel 20 in Las Cruces. You can also watch the first episode, which features New Mexico’s three members of the U.S. House, right here:
Here’s what a blog posting on Udall’s Web site has to say about the new program:
“The Udall Update gives you an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into our nation’s capital. In each program, you can expect great interviews, stories, or tours that give you information about Capitol Hill, a unique look at my work in Washington and in-depth analysis of the important issues that make a difference to New Mexico.
“The exclusive content in The Udall Update gives you the context behind the headlines and an inside perspective to laws-in-the-making.
“It’s also a chance to get answers to your questions about policy and legislation. Visit my Contact Tom page to submit your question.”
Those questions will be answered during the “Tom’s Inbox” section of each episode. Another segment, “Sensible Solutions,” will highlight legislation on which Udall has worked.
