Meet Sarah Lenti, NMPolitics.net’s new blogger

Sarah Lenti

You may already be familiar with Sarah Lenti, who has written some columns for NMPolitics.net in the past. Now she’s this site’s newest blogger.

You can find her blog, The Savvy, at nmpolitics.net/the-savvy. Her previous columns have been incorporated into the blog and there’s a new post up now.

Why The Savvy? Here’s what Sarah said when I asked:

“Savvy – the thing (as in person, place or a thing) – is, by definition, a purely practical understanding or shrewdness. The Savvy – this blog – is an attempt to provide purely practical insight and banter on that thing called politics, which is not always so pure.”

Sarah comes at things from a center-right perspective and will be blogging regularly about national politics.

When not at her day job, Sarah works as a policy consultant and advisor to Republican Party leaders, executives and candidates. She worked for the Bush campaigns in 2000 and 2004 and for John McCain’s campaign in 2008. She worked during Bush’s first term in office for National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice. She worked on Ed Tinsley’s campaign for Congress in New Mexico in 2008.

You can find her blog postings at nmpolitics.net/the-savvy or in the left column on the NMPolitics.net home page.

Please welcome Sarah to the site. You can e-mail her at sarah@nmpolitics.net.
