Info about constitutional amendments now online

There are five proposed constitutional amendments on the ballot in November. The Legislature’s Web site now includes general information about each and arguments for and against them.

The five proposals:

• Allow a war veterans college scholarship

• Extend term limits for county officials

• Modernize language regarding qualified electorate

• Property tax exemption for veterans’ organizations

• Appointment of legislators to civil offices
