Tom Mullins won the 3rd Congressional District GOP primary today, and it was no surprise that Steve Pearce won the GOP 2nd Congressional District primary.
Mullins defeated Adam Kokesh. With 84 percent of precincts reporting, he has 71 percent of the vote to Kokesh’s 29 percent. Pearce won over Cliff Pirtle by an even larger margin. With 98 percent of precincts reporting, he won 85 percent to Pirtle’s 15 percent.
Pearce will face U.S. Rep. Harry Teague, D-N.M., in November. Mullins will face Rep. Ben Ray Luján, D-N.M.
