A new poll finds that the New Mexico governor’s race remains a statistical tie.
The poll found 44 percent of likely New Mexico voters supporting Republican Susana Martinez and 43 percent supporting Democrat Diane Denish, with 13 percent undecided. The survey, conducted by the GOP firm Magellan Strategies on Monday, surveyed 542 likely voters and has a margin of error of 4.2 percent.

Notably, Martinez led Denish among men by 17 points while Denish led among women by 12 points. Some 45 percent of voters said they have a favorable opinion of Martinez, while 34 percent had an unfavorable view. 40 percent of voters had a favorable opinion of Denish, while 41 percent had an unfavorable view.
