Another potential 2012 presidential candidate is contributing money to Republican Susana Martinez’s gubernatorial campaign.
Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, a Republican, announced Wednesday that his political committee is giving $5,000 to Martinez.
“I’m proud to have the Freedom First PAC contribute $5,000 to her campaign, and I encourage Republicans nationally to join me in supporting her financially,” Pawlenty said today in a prepared statement. “I look forward to campaigning this fall with Susana and her running mate, John Sanchez, in their effort to make New Mexico a safer, more prosperous state.”
On Wednesday, potential 2010 GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney announced that his PAC was giving $5,000 to Martinez’s campaign.
