Democratic Lt. Gov. candidate Brian Colón will start airing his first television ad of the campaign this week, a 30-second biographical spot.

The commercial will air statewide on network and cable television for the duration of the campaign, according to a news release.
One last note: Colón wrote in an e-mail to supporters that he is “the first Democratic Lt. Gov. candidate to go on network & cable TV!” But one of his opponents, Lawrence Rael, ran a TV ad on network and cable television in January.
