Secretary of State Mary Herrera’s office has added Las Cruces to the list of cities in which it’s holding trainings on the new campaign finance reporting system.
The office originally announced trainings for candidates and their workers in Farmington, Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Clovis but nothing in Southern New Mexico. The office said at the time that a training at New Mexico State University fell through.
Now, the office plans two trainings in Las Cruces on Thursday – from 8:30-10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – in Lab Room 103 at Doña Ana Community College in Las Cruces.

“Candidates and campaign treasurers can always contact the Secretary of State’s Office for assistance, or review the on-line campaign finance information system tutorial on our website. The next campaign finance reporting deadline is Monday, May 10, 2010 at 5:00 PM.
